The Villiersdorp Animal Clinic has been our go-to veterinary surgery since its inception, particularly for our herd of alpacas but also for our dogs and cats. Donalyn has attended to our alpacas and we have been impressed with her care and, when needed, quick decisions. Alpacas have a reputation for being 100% healthy 99% of the time! The Villiersdorp Animal Clinic has often been responsible for reclaiming that one per cent! With a recent colic case in an alpaca – a first for us – and following an assessment, the correct action was taken and the alpaca recovered within a few hours. Christopher and I have been impressed with Donalyn’s intuition where alpaca health is concerned.

They have been instrumental in the care of our pets, providing exceptional service for everything from routine sterilizations and immunizations to more complex health issues. They’ve been a lifeline for our dog, Blu, helping us manage his allergies with care and expertise. Living in Villiersdorp with a home full of furry family members we are very privileged to have an incredible team at the practice here and in Grabouw. Both facilities are excellent and offer first-class care and attention.
We have experienced most of the vet team, but mainly Dr Donalyn who has tended to many of our animals over the years and we know we are all in such good hands. Dr Donalyn is so gentle with animals and with us humans too. She is an informative, thorough and committed vet surgeon and an asset to our community. From taking care of emergencies to treating a much-loved chicken with a cold, Dr Donalyn does it all and always with compassion.
